Exercising is one of the most important activities necessary for a healthy body. Now, when one thinks of exercising, thoughts of
muscle men and fight club come to mind. But that's not what exercising is at all ! There are two different types of exercises: aerobic (cardio)
and anaerobic (strength training). Aerobic exercises are very important because they condition the lungs and the heart (also known as the cardio vascular
system). Anaerobic (strength training) in the other kind of exercise. Strength training builds the muscles. I've provided an example of each type below:
Aerobic: Cycling
Cycling is an excellent exercise that strengthens the lungs, heart, and legs all at the same time. Cycling can be performed either on a stationery bike
or a regular bike.
Aerobic: Swimming
Swimming is the ultimate cardio vascular work-out. Also, it strengthens the arms, chest, core, and legs at the same time. Some of the world's top
athetes are competitive swimmers.
Anaerobic: Barbell Curls
Barbell curls can be done many different ways, but they focus primarily on tearing and rebuilding the bicept muscle. Curls are an excellent way to build strong
arms.
Anaerobic: Ab Crunches
