WHAT IS THIS SITE ABOUT?

Did you travel anywhere today? Maybe you went to work, to school, or maybe to the store? What did you see on your trip? Can you recall the detail of the outside world as you were zooming by? Did you see anything you've never seen before? Did you see something amazing, awe-inspiring, or breath-taking like a mountain landscape, or a forest that stretches as far as the eye can see? Odds are that you probably saw none of these things.

Sometimes when we get lost in our daily routines life passes us by. We rarely ever have the time to "stop and smell the roses." There's nothing wrong with this life style. I mean, we're busy, that's the American way. But we do actually miss a lot. This site is an attempt to open your eyes to some of the things you're missing.

Nature is beautiful, wildlife is amazing, and I know, I know, you can see wildlife on the Animal Planet, you can view nature on TV, but it's not the same as seeing it first hand.

There are two areas of this world that are often overlooked: above the plateaus and beneath the water. The mountains and the sea bottoms are a source of limitless beauty and awe. Both of these carry with them great wonders whether it be waterfalls, landscapes, amazing life forms, or just beautiful scenery. Want sure fire way to see all the area above the plateau? ↓

Sounds pretty boring, right? Well it's not! Hiking is one of the most popular outdoor activities around. It's a way to have fun and stay fit. You could potentially go somewhere that no one has ever been. In that respect, hiking is an adventure.
