Spirituality is the way we find meaning, hope, comfort and peace in our lives.  Many people find spirituality in religion.  Others find it in music, art, or nature.  And some find it in their values and principles.  No one knows for sure, but it seems the body, mind and spirit are all connected.  The health of any one of these elements often affects the others.  Positive beliefs, faith and inner strength can be gained from religion, prayer, yoga, meditation or 12-step spiritual programs to help people cope with crises, heal sickness, or deal with a sudden change or death.

Feel Younger, Live Longer

Spiritual Awareness

Spiritual awareness, or awakening, is a process by which we begin to explore our own being in order to become whole.  Whether you’re just starting your search, or have been a traveler on the spiritual awareness path, the answers you seek to questions like “Who am I?” / “Why does it seem like something’s missing in my life?” / “Is this all there is?” are within you.  If you’re struggling with finding your purpose in life, there are many things you can do to help you feel that you are on this planet for a reason.  Other people who have been down a similar path may be of assistance.  And a spiritual retreat can often remove you from the daily mundane, and provide a calm, still environment where you can listen to your heart and meditate on your own truth and essence.  (Ref:  Phylameana lily Desy, Holistic Healer)

Embrace your talents.  Follow your passions and utilize your strongest abilities to discover your place in the world.

Tie up loose ends.  Unresolved issues can eat away at you both mentally and emotionally.

Own up to your failures.  Don’t blame others for your mistakes.

Let go of useless attachments.  If something no longer serves a purpose in your life, get red of it, whether a tangible item or mental image.

Confront your inner demons.  Recognizing you’re not perfect can free you from feeling stupid or “less than.”

Be patient.  Delays are a part of life.  Accepting them saves a lot of stress and frustration.

Love and honor yourself.  You are only given one body.  Take care of illnesses, get regular exercise, eat healthy food and drink lots of H2O.

Go with the flow.  Accepting change can be scary, but it’s necessary to learn and grow.
