Points are awarded based on how sites finish in each round. As each round is increasingly complex, the points you can win also increase. But, you don't have to win any rounds to get points. Each competitor receives 10 points just for entering their site.

Here's the point breakdown:

As you can see, an individual who merely completes all five rounds will earn a minimum of 50 points. If you were to win all five rounds you would accumulate 135 points, and of course, win.

Even someone who competes in just the last two rounds, for example, could earn between 20 and 85 points. This competitor would stand a strong chance of taking the title of Iron WebMaster by winning or doing well in those rounds!
